Redwoods

Wow! Yesterday Manuka Hub went to the Redwoods.  Do you know how we got there?  We went on a bus.  When we were walking we saw some shells in the ground.  When we got there we played. The trees were humungous.  I made a bridge with Cameron.  We made the bridge out of sticks and big logs.  We put the logs on the left and right sides of the bridge.  The sticks were going in the middle.  When we were finished we let the other people cross it.  Under the bridge there was a little stream.  We built the bridge on the ground and lifted it over the stream.  It was fun at the Redwoods.

Our Summerset Visit

On Wednesday Manuka Hub went to Summerset to do a concert for Summerset.  The first thing we did was reading poems and then the lady read us Slinky Malinki.  Then we did a song for the people and after we did the song we had a lolly scramble.  Do you know how we got there?  We walked there and the lollies were in glass bowls.  We brought our pet rocks too and our class made the pet rocks. Some of the rocks had googly eyes and some of the rocks had eye balls and some of the eye balls were coloured in with the vivids. Some of the rocks had feathers and some stars.

Car Wash!

My favourite thing about the car wash was the shammies because you get to scrub the cars and you get to tip buckets of water on the cars.  We cleaned the cars for Random Acts of Kindness week.  At the end some kids put balloons in the cars that they blew up but it was fun.
